:-offtopic Dean and Lore, you two are confusing me with your posts, as you have very similar avatars! :bang:

:-offtopic Cuz I was bored and made him an Avatar of his House Snake too from his stunning photo's recently posted.

Maybe I should have made his facing the opposite way

***EDIT***

I changed my Avatar to avoid any confusion

I don't recall if I posted on the original thread, but I still don't see a 'sunglow' when I see the recent pics. I see an amel without any white, with a nice clean pattern very similar to an amel sub adult female we have here. The oranges are too washed out to be considered a sunglow though, IMO, and I know you probably don't want to hear that.

Still a nice looking snake, just not a sunglow.

You're lucky. At the PetLand in Rockford, Amels go for 99.00 and snows are 125.00!

If you really need an amel or snow, let me know & I'll pick one up at the expo for you -- I go to just about every expo to pick up crickets for a certain growing horse in the shape of a itty bearded dragon...! It's fun to go & just look, anyway, even though I feel like I have the place memorized...but it makes it all the more tempting...!

And, I was going to add (going back to the original topic...) that Nightmare's amel is quite bright & vibrant -- my amel has very little white to her, but I wish she was a bit brighter like Nightmare's...Maizie is a bit more like orange sherbet. :) Nightmare's is quite lovely, and who knows what Starburst may have as possible hets...I guess, as long as Starburst is healthy, that's all that matters, right? :)

:-offtopic You go to the little Expo in Wheaton that goes on twice a month? I go too, we'll have to meet up at it sometime

Me? I got my normal het.snow and my snow in March from SMR...but when I was looking around at prices for tank supplies, I took a look at the corns & their prices. YEOUCH!

Yes, I go to the expo in Wheaton...I've gotten my boyfriend now into it, too, so it's basically become part of our weekend plans. :) We're actually going this coming Sun because of the crickets-issue...I know that she's growing, but she eats them like they're going out of fashion! She seems to be in some sort of constant shed! ("She" is Jolie, the itty-bitty wanna-be horse, in the shape of a bearded dragon...) Lore, you'd be the first person I'd meet from this forum, I'd feel like I'm part of the behind-the-scenes crowd then! :)

At the expo in Wheaton, the prices don't seem to be all that bad...and there always seem to be tanks of all sizes available & not too badly priced. As for supplies, I've gotten a nice 10-20 gal UTH for $15 -- much better than any pet store! I don't know what the SMR is...but the All Animal Expo in Wheaton is pretty decent...it's a small, crowded affair, but friendly enough and always tons of stuff. And it's fun to play with the sugar gliders. :)
