Well I watch TV with my snakes sometimes an I was sitting closer to the TV than usual and when Fran Screamed Jasmine I guess got spooked by the scary chick from queens and jerked her head back a emited foulness!

On another note. My Black rat that is WC and near perfect is an exception from the rules. From the looks of him you would think he was CB but he was found right after he hatched from his eggs. Still with his siblings and brought to the place I got him from. He was given to me in November he was born in August. He has been perfect and never had any issue and is healthier than some of my CB Black rats. As far as body mass, and feed responce goes. But he is such a rare gem that it is almost abnormal.

Ok everyone. Let me clear this up.

-We have money NOW
-I can make the appropriate habitat for the snakes now.
-I have a permit to keep WC snakes.
-I Know what to do.
-Lastly, All I ever wanted was just a nice place to hang and talk about out legless little friends.

I won't be waiting around forever. Accept my offer or reject it in the next two hours, or it's off the table and you can keep dealing with the negative repercussions of your unfortunate username. Heck, I'd take me up on it just because I'm anal about misspellings!

You had your snake for at least 2 weeks, if not more.

According to this thread

You were not even sure on the species of the snake

According to this site
www.dnr.state.oh.us
"A propagating license application must be requested from the Division of Wildlife within 10 days after taking possession of any native reptile, amphibian or wood turtle (Clemmys insculpta)."

"Accurate records for all animals, including wild-captured, must be maintained for five years by the license holder and be available for inspection by a representative of the Division of Wildlife at all reasonable hours."

"Records must include:
Common and scientific name, and number of native reptiles or amphibians received or sold, the birth dates of captive born animals, and the date, location and length of all wild-captured taxa,"

Using this evidence I would surmise that you had your snake more than 10 days...and without a permit because you did not know the species of your snake which is needed for a permits records. (if you have one now, great, you know if you do or do not...but I am talking about the time when you did not have one...however I do find it hard to believe that you happen to magically acquire one overnight)

Do you wonder why we are all throwing information at you. It is not because we dislike you, or want to nag you for the fun of it....it is because it is hard to take you seriously when you don't even put in a little research. We are trying to help you.

Whats wrong with typing in bold? On another forum with 50+ people I typed in bold on all my posts and I did not get a single person who objected to something that was already here on the forums.

Internet etiquettes purpose is to eliminate some disparities between in person communication and written communication. On-line no one can see or hear your tone, voice inflections, or body languge which is why things like sarcasm, anger, and joking can be mistaken. To avoid these mistakes and help people understand intent better certain rules apply and typing in bold or all caps signals yelling and anger universally. Just because on another forum no one has pointed this out to you does not mean it's not confusing or is appropriate. I pointed this out to you to help you acclimate here and other places on-line not to be rude- no one knows it all and before I assumed you were doing it to yell, be angry, or just contrary I thought I would at the very least mke you aware.:)

I don't see any problem with you typing in bold. It's unnecessary and a little annoying, but it's no different than someone typing in a certain color. Type in bold if you feel you need/want to, but try not to take offense when other members are bothered by it.

Ok everyone. Let me clear this up.

Okay, you bother me. I've tried my best not to respond to this thread. It seems I have failed at even that.

My response(s) in the same order that you listed your "points"...

-We have money NOW

-No one is talking about your monetary situation... And that doesn't change the fact that you repeatedly sacrificed your snake's health for your wallet's sake.

-I can make the appropriate habitat for the snakes now.

-So? They're still wild caught. If you can put together appropriate habitats for every one of your current snakes, why don't you skip that all together... Release them... And get captive bred snakes? If you insist on having water snakes, get a captive bred one! It'll cost less than a set up for one of your newer catches (which are likely to die regardless of what you do, short of releasing them).

-I have a permit to keep WC snakes.

-Where was this permit before? For that matter, how did you get a permit in such a short time, and apparently without even having proper habitats "just yet"?

-I Know what to do.

-Okay, explain. What do you have to do? I'm completely serious... If you know what to do now, I'm sure I'm not the only one that wants to hear exactly what that is. Give us details... Heat, humidity, land/water ratios, food sources, etc, etc--or are you going to do what we all keep telling you, and just let them go? Explain, please!

-Lastly, All I ever wanted was just a nice place to hang and talk about out legless little friends.

-This IS a nice place for that. I'm sure I'm not the only one that wants you to be a part of this community. But how can anyone take you seriously, or even leave alone your "faults", when they're so vast and dangerous? You're taking snakes out of the wild when you don't know what they are. You're ignoring our advice. You're being needlessly rude and snotty about it all. You refuse to show anyone on this board a shred of respect... How could you expect us to play nice when you can't so the same?

I'm sure, once you show some maturity and respect, and start doing right by your animals (for that matter, all animals), people will be more gracious and friendly. Try to make that "change" before too long, though. The longer you take to turn around, the more and longer people will continue to dislike/be wary of you after the fact. David is a perfect example. He took a ridiculously long time to "sober up" and develop some real maturity. He has come a long way since then, and become a (dare I say it??) "valued" member of the community! Despite all this, though, you can't deny the fact that there are still several valued members that still dislike him to some extent, simply due to his extensive history of being a pain in everyone's backside.

What I'm trying to say in this last "rant" is, Geese, you have potential. No one can or will take you seriously, though, with they way you're acting. The username isn't helping, either, but, at least for me, it's more your actions that are so bothersome and offensive.

Okay, I'm done. I really hope this makes sense... For that matter, I REALLY hope you bother to read it!! =/

It made sense to me. Most of her former co-stars in tv and film have commented in one publication or another about Drescher's musking habits.

:roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:

Probably the funniest thing I've read here in a LONG time!

(And yet, one of the most frightening mental images I've had as well.)

FIFTY PEOPLE? How does the server handle THAT MANY USERS without crashing? Wow. I didn't think there would be that many people in the whole world online at any one time total. I'd ask to join that site, but I'm scared of crowds.

:nyah:

Ok, I still hope he listens to you guys and me. We are giving him good advice yet he is being a poop head!

I hope so too

All we can do is give him the information and advice he needs...what he does with it is ultimately up to him.

I was thinking the same thing...must be easy to keep up on topics...all two or three posts a day of them.

I just wanna state this. Please don't call him David Junior. It is rude and offensive. I don't deserve it. i am trying to do better and I am tired of him being called that. I am not like him. Please don't call him me! I have 20+ snakes in nice cages. He has 3 snakes that he can't half care for

Hi David,
I haven't been around so long, so I only know the "new David". :) And that one is imo valued by lots and starting to get valued by others. No doubt the "David junior" points at the "old David" and isn't meant as an offence to you now.
But still you have a good point, and if you don't like it, I hope with you that people will stop calling him that.
