I havent seen many colorfull opals but if you have babys pictures of yours and pictures as adults, I would love to see them I hatched a couple really orange looking ones and was wondering what they will look like as adults! ...:shrugs:
WARNING TO STEPHEN:
DO NOT read any further in this post if you don't want me to spoil the punchline for you. These are opals that hearken back to your lines...remember the bright colorful hypo lav I got from you a few years ago? Well, he was bred to my opal "Sweet Pea". I bred one of the sons back to her and got the two bright ones last year that are in these pictures. Your boy Calypso is the grandfather and they look a lot like he did as a hatchling, even though he is a hypo lav and these are opals.
That disappointing that they don't keep those colors. Beautiful snakes though
Caramel, that orange spots on white look is incredible! Maybe I just haven't seen one like that before but I hope you breed for more of those! That could become a really fun breeding project I think.
I should have guessed rich would have produced them. I'm sot sure from that whether an actual selective breeding project has been done though. Maybe I missed it
