Red dot on a scale?

Rose has a little red dot on one of her scales... Does anyone know what it could be? I don't know if it's just some weird coloring... She's a snow, so I'm thinking she's supposed to have no reds at all. At first I thought "MITES! YEEK!" but it's not a mite... :/

She could just have a red scale. I've seen a few snows with a red spot here and there. Mites are black and they move.

I'll take a picture. I'm not worried too much, because it's not doing anything. It doesn't stick out, it's not indented, it doesn't move, etc., but I just wanted a second opinion. :)

need to know it's genetics to really know for sure, but it is likely the appearance of a recessive gene, it happens sometimes.
probably just an anomaly, enjoy the difference, i think over the next few years we will start to see cases like this more and more often with all the extensive custom breeding going on now.
people sometimes ask me about the amazing looking morph i have... they are talking about my normal!

I have an 05 female snow motley that has a small red freckle on one of her scales. She had it when I got her & it has retained the same shape & color intensity throughout her sheds.

Yep, I had a Hypo Lav that had one little orange dot on one of his scales. It also stayed the same and he never developed any more.

Sorry, still no pic. I can't find my mom's camera... I guess it's just a "freckle", though. I have a feeling it's been there, but I don't know.

And sorry, I don't know her genetics. She's my first corn, and I bought her from a pet shop.
