Refillable WAter Bowl

Relentless

New member
I'm going on vacation Saturday and I got one of those refillable water bowls for my snake as I am not able to bring him. My only concern is that it only fills up a half an inch of water at a time. I know it will trickle down and refill but I am just concerned that he will not get enough water. Will it be ok for a week or do I need to do something else?

Thanks,
Tyler

Well my actual concern is, is the opening closed off? Cause otherwise the snake might try to get up into the bottle.
As for it being enough water I'm not sure why it wouldn't be.

I would also fill his normal water bowl and leave that as well, in case something malfunctions with the refilling water bowl.

So is there any way he can get trapped by the screen, or tip the whole thing over when he climbs on it? Have you tested it out with you there, to make sure it works and can't hurt him?

I have a large sized Exo-Terra water bowl. I just returned yesterday from vacation after having been gone for 6 days and the water was only half gone even being positioned under my ceramic heat emitter.

You should be fine.

Steve

I thought you were supposed to put the water on the cool side of the cage. Do corns like warm water? :shrugs:

That is the cool side of my cage. I need a CHE to keep my cool side temperature at 75 degrees...otherwise it would be in the 60's, which is no big deal, but she seems to like things just the way they are :bird:

Well you can do this to have more humidity in the tank.
