Regurgitation? or Poop?

I've recently acquired a Miami phase corn and the breeder told me he was about a year old. He roughly 13 inches long, and at thickest about the size of a nickle.
I've had him for about a month, and I made sure to give him proper time to adjust to the new terrarium before trying to feed him. The provider told me to try and give him large pinkies or small fuzzies.

So I gave him a fuzzy, and I was a little unsure that he would eat it. Khan (my corn's name) took to it, and had a nice lump in his belly in less than 20 minutes.
I made sure to put him back in his terrarium and to give him time to digest. I checked on him in about a week, and he had a smaller lump further down towards his cloaca. So I assumed that was good.
Its been about a week and a half and I check on him and the lump was gone.

I found something that looked like a partially digested fuzzy in one corner, and I am not sure if it was poop, or a regurgitation.
Should I back down and feed him pinkies instead?

That's a regurge, sorry to say. I'm still a bit confused on a 13" corn being as big around as a nickel. Should be pencil diameter at that size...

A pencil does sound like a better description for it honestly. I'm new to this.

So should I go back to trying pinkies? Was the fuzzy too large for him? I was feeling hopeful when he kept it down after a week.

Now skip one meal, then go back to a small pink, and increase the size gradually from there. Never feed him when he is blue. Get Nutribac to powder his food with.

Gotcha. I've stalked some posts on here before, but its typical to feed once a week right?

This probably sounds like a newbie question, but what does Nutribac do? I've worked with old, adult snakes (2 corns, 1 king and 1 milksnake) with my job, and we have never used that. :)

Nutribac is a probiotic that will help digestion. When baby snakes vomit, they lose much of the beneficial flora that aids in breaking down food. I would definitely say to scale back on food size, after skipping a week. If you have access to a gram scale, it's easy to tell you what size prey item to offer if you have an accurate weight of your snake. I feed babies on an alternating 4 & 5 day schedule of smaller pinks, personally, I feel 7 days is too long to go without stuffing them.

I also feed (baby to yearling) every 5 days, but don't worry if it stretches out to a week once in a while.
