Hey guys.
i know this has been done before but im prety sure that ther are quite a few new peeps here since the last time i can remember it being done! so, i thought it would be kool to see were everyone keeps there snakes! If you have posted before......post again! and if not, post away! lol

this is my set up, only it is full now with large tubs and there is a tub at the bottom as well were my books are in this pic!

It's nice that you put all those accessories in the tubs. I don't keep anything in the snake's tub except a water bowl but I hang a towel in front of the rack so they have some privacy. :D
 
One thing to consider as you set up new cages...

If you were to concentrate all of your heat pads on one end instead of the middle, you could create a greater temperature gradient across the length of the cage. I'm sure it works just fine in the middle as it is, but the snake can have even more choice with a really toasty side, in addition to a side even further from the heat.
 
ye i kow this was a big dilema throughout the whole process of making the rack.
believe it or not these were the only tubs that i could find that were a good shape and size to use to make the rack, and if you notice there is only room in the middle to fit the heat cable because the side of the tubs are in contact with the wood beneath.
but, the tubs are prety long and if the snakes ever do want a cool spot i sometimes find them to one side, they do fine :)
