So it seems I have become the local go to person when someone doesn't want their reptile anymore. :shrugs: A few weeks ago a friends, friends brother or something was wanted to give away their Beardie, so I was the one who was called and having an extra 55 gallon sitting around, I took her in.

Well, today I got the call that a friends neighbor girl lost interest in her corn snake and just wanted to get rid of it, :twoguns: so of COURSE I said I would take it, I didn't even know what morph, the age nothing, I was just disgusted that this girl cared so little that she just wanted to get rid of it.

My friend who is neighbors with this 16 year old girl that got rid of the snake brought the snake to me in a pillow case and when I took this boy out of the pillow case I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED at what I found inside!

A GREAT looking Reverse Okeetee!!! :crazy02: I named him Lazarus.

He is about the length of my July 05 maybe longer (in the pictures he is in a Sterilite Shoe Box), but he is SO THIN! She was only feeding him 1 SMALL PINK every week IF THAT! :eek1: :puke01:

So after this guy settles in I'm going to give him a fuzzie and get some weight on him. He is a stunning, not a bad gig, me being the local unwanted reptile dropoff person.

LMAO!! I Rescued one last week!! RO too!! But she unfortunatly isnt eating, but time will tell, and she seems alot worse than thatlittle fella right there... :cry: Weeks will tell.

All this guy needs is some proper food size and he'll fatten right up.

He just ate a fuzzy today and took it just fine. :crazy02:

I measured him today and he measured in at 26.6", he's so skinny the small mouse fuzzy left a very noticable lump in him. :eek1:

He'll be up to size in no time I hope.

Cause she's a 16 yr old girl that has fickle taste and was bored with it and wanted to get something different :rolleyes: People like that irritate me.

No perseverance, that's the problem. Beautiful find anyway :) Good luck with getting him back up to size!
 
Which damage to find a so beautiful cornsnake so thin. Cheer for his rescue and I hope that it will take again weight quickly.
 
wow that is one beautiful corn! i love reverse okeetees. ...and i really wish i know someone locally that didn't want theirs anymore :D

Oh yay!! Mine still hasent eaten yet :cry:

But she needs to poop( i can tell :grin01: ) and once she does I hope shes really really hungry and i cAN GIVER HER A f/t (dang capslock) fuzzie!!(crosses fingers) :cheers:
