Hey everyone

Sorry I haven't posted for a while, I've been away in southern France (I'll post pictures when I get home on Wednesday).

14th August was AS-Level results day. For those of you who may not know, AS-Levels help universities to gauge what results you'll achieve at A-Level (required for university entry), and contribute towards the overall strength of your entry application. Most people study four AS-Levels (although many do less based on their previous exam results and ability), and I chose biology, chemistry, physics and geography.

I had to go into school at 9:30AM for these results (way too early, LOL). I got AAAB (the B was in physics), so I was really pleased. :)

I'm dropping physics now (almost everyone who took four drops one at the end of AS), so I'll continue with my other three next year.

Thanks for looking!

David

A-levels are now split in two, in the first year you take 4 subjects and are tested on them, these are your AS marks, then you drop one of these and the second yeasr of studying is for A2s.

It stands for Advanced Subsidary, it's a higher level qualification. I like chemistry, it's physics that bugs me, LOL.

Congrats dude! I got my extra credit results in (along with first year pre nursing results) a few weeks ago. A's all accross the board.

Congrats! I guess...

I'm kind of glad I don't have to worry about that right now.. still have a couple years to figure out what I want to do. I do know I will try my hardest to get into Oxford.. although I doubt I will.
