Rorschach Progression

Thanks guys! Had the camera out for some other snakes, and I knew Rorschach had some fans around here, so I snapped a picture for you guys!

Every time I open his tub I'm just so impressed!

Rorschach is fresh shed! I didn't get the best pictures, but here are the shots I managed to capture before feeding him today.

He still has lots of attitude!

This boy is fresh shed, and I figured before I gave him a mouse I'd snap a few pictures!

In the tub

Thanks for looking. This guy is just so COOL!

His headpattern is outstanding like a mask
with lil devil horns!
What´s the meaning of his name very neat btw!
Hope will will continue turnin out that great for ya°

Thanks for the compliments on this guy! He is really starting to grow into himself.

I just hope that no matter how he matures, he will keep at least the outline of his head pattern! I love it, I see something new in it every photo session! I also kind of hope he keeps his white cheeks. They are so cute.

This guy is becoming seriously IMPOSSIBLE to get a good picture of. He's entered some kind of "teenage" stage where he's pretty much dead set on being as active as he can every time he's out of his viv.

That nice place under bowl and wait trick? He's too smart for it. Even when I try to take a few shots after uncovering him from whatever hide he's been in in his tub, he jets off after 1-2 shots.

Anyway, enough complaining, here he is in all his glory. Also, he's growing like a weed! He's on pretty much the same scheduled as my other '10s, but he looks like a monster compared to some of them! I guess every corn grows at its own rate.

Managed to get a few decent shots of him in his tub without flash to show his colors off.

Next, we ventured outside..
The only decent shots I was able to get of him where with him in my hand..

Firmly in my hand!

A few more for good measure.

That's it for now, hopefully next shed he'll be a little calmer. He's definitely unique, that's for sure, in attitude and looks! Can't say I am really unhappy about his attitude either.. I can always count on him to eat!

Oh edit: Almost forgot the best one.. actually from the other day. Even LESS of the photos I took yesterday turned out though...

So... this guy went through his blue phase, cleared up, and looks great. I can't seem to find a shed in his tub though!

Perhaps it's shoved in one of his hides or under a bunch of substrate. He sure is looking good and freshly shed to me! I snagged a few shots of him yesterday.

Enjoy! I love how his color is progressing.

I'm pretty fond of most Motley's chin markings, I like the way they look against white chins and bellies, but I find his especially handsome. They really add something to his overall look I think. I guess they're not terribly visible in this photo, but I think they frame his face really well.

We went outside because the day was overcast. Not so great for early August, but nice conditions a snake photoshoot! It's good to have a fun back up activity when it becomes clear that you have to cancel your previous pool plans.. :headbang:

These first few are kind of poorly exposed, but I think he's pretty in the moss.

I SWEAR it's not Autumn!!

As mentioned before, Rorschach doesn't put up with being placed in a bowl and posing nicely after he is revealed. One of two seconds worth of snapping shots.. 3 if I'm lucky, and he's off!
P1012886.jpg

What you CAN'T see in these photos is my hand.. holding onto his mid section so he won't be able to escape!
P1012888.jpg

Got a nice tongue shot though!
P1012890.jpg

We did a little better after I gave him a hand with staying in one spot! Pun intended. :p

This guy has a great feeding response, and not only that, he seems to practically grow on air. To me he just seems to scream health and virility. I sure hope so! He's just a 2010, but I have a feeling I may be introducing him to a few of my girls a little early.
P1012911.jpg

Something tells me he's not going to complain! He seems like the kinda [man] snake that gets right down to business!
P1012912.jpg

Alright, thanks for looking. Hope you enjoyed. PJ, if you see this, thanks for the awesome snake! Even though he's a bit feisty I have a very soft spot for this guy. Not only does he look really cool, he just has that little something extra that really makes him stand out amongst my collection.
