Sad Morning for me..

Thank you peeps so much, I know some people just say its was just a X animal, get over it.. But I know there are enough people here that completely understand how we all feel about our critters..

I am at a bit of an ease at this time, knowing that he has passed through his stage of suffering... Considering cremating his remains, or taking him out to the canyons here for a pyre... My area is not a great on to be in to dig a hole, and I certainly don't want anything digging up his remains... I would rather do what I feel is honourable for a friend ...

Did I mention, you guys are the greatest?

When my cat died we had her cremated and she is in a little wooden box over our fireplace...I think thats what I will do with all my mammals...so sorry about your cat, I know its tough, I still get a little teary-eyed about my Chloe and its been 2 years :(
 
Sincerest condolences Tim! My grandmother just last week had to have her 22yr old kitty put to sleep, so I can truly sympathise :(

RIP Mr Wang!
 
So, so, sorry...

Our pet families are NEVER "just" animals - they are sometimes our best friends, loving us without judgment, unlike our human friends and families. It is so sad that they are here for such a short time.

My thoughts are with you...

Thank you friends... Kathy nailed this one really good.. At this point we are contemplating about cremation.. Things are better today, which is a positive thing for me.. Hopefully I can get my ole guy laid to rest, fairly soon...Again.. Many warmest regards to the decent people of this board!
