Aw thanks! The game plan is to have me foster and the rescue will post them on there page and any potential adopters will have to go through the regular adoption process and fill out the rescues app. Then they will call me and I get to make the finial decision.

I just wanted to chime in with the same thing a lot of others have been saying... I think what you're doing is really awesome! I sincerely hope you are able to find all of the kittens good loving homes.

You are obviously a stand-up pet owner and once you do finally get your snake it will be so worth it! I find that collecting supplies/settling up elaborate and beautiful tanks are a ton of fun and while you have to wait a while to actually get your snake, you can easily amuse yourself by designing and building/decorating a little snake paradise ;) I know that at least for myself that would be a great way to keep myself entertained and excited for a future snake.
 
Have not be on in ages but thought I'd update this! Turns out my cousins cat is NOT pregnant. Yay!!! But more news that is good/bad/sad.

I got a call from a girl we will call O that her boss(G) is a *breeder* of bobtail cats and her female got out and had long tails in the litter(3). I was told she going to take the newborn kittens and throw them in the woods for the coyotes. After talking with her I wouldn't put it past her. Anyway so I'm getting 2 of the kittens once they hit 5 weeks(that's as long as she would keep them...not past that) and O is getting one. I know for a fact I'm keeping one kitten. It's up in the air if I'm keeping the other. Depends on how my current cat takes to them. Since she is 1 came from a shelter and got along with other cats I feel she will be okay. So my snake adventures are being put back still. My brother is not happy with that but he will get over it :p It gives me more time to find a place that I can handle snakes and get used to them.
 
Yay for helping those kittens and keeping one, but boo for snake delays! Too bad you're so far away from me, I'd let you come play with Kaa. :)
 
If I was a breeder I would GIVE you a snake! You are so sweet to take in those poor babies! I know how it feels to see people breeding cats intentionally or just looking the other way and its terrible. My parents for the longest time took in any cat and they just bred like crazy. I finally got them to become a ''registered cat colony'' and No More Homeless Pets spayed them all for free, I have two of the babies from the last litter (the only ones that weren't spayed free, but they are fixed now!). They actually aren't babies now, they are 6 haha. Anyways, thanks for being such a great person!
 
I know it's not much but I have an unopened bag of Blue Buffalo Kitten food that was sent to me by accident from my delivery company, I ordered the senior they sent me kitten lol, but its just sitting here and I will never use it, If you want it I can box it and send it to you. If you think you can use it.

I'm pretty anxious about getting them....not going to lie but I'm sad about not being able to get a snake,lol. I have been cleaning like crazy and kitten proofing my room. I'm sure once they hit 10 weeks I will be pulling my hair out,ha!
 
I was wondering what happened here, but I couldn't remember the name of the thread. Good thing about the other cat not being pregnant.

As for the bob tail, where the HELL do you live that people are so ignorant? You are the shining star in a pile of crap-for-brains. I know some people have that mentality, and it IS harder for us to understand since this is a pet forum for the GOOD of pets, but good god. :headbang:

I KNOW these people have to watch "Price Is Right", don't they pay attention when Bob and now Drew say "get your pets spayed or neutered"?

What kind of corn were you saving for?

I live in central Illinois. That should explain a lot :p and classics. I'm still learning and researching everything and I'm sure ill find more and more I want,haha.

Oh, you will DEFINITELY find more and more! I keep finding morphs that are so cool, but like you I actually really wanted a Normal/Classic even though I started out with Amels. I finally got one as a rescue last December, "Boots" is 5' long and my "boyfriend". He has a crush on me, I think, he follows me from one end of the viv to the other as I walk by. He LOVES being held and wrapping around me. I also got a small 1 year old Normal this last week as a rescue, he is so tiny, and his name is Richard.

ShenziSixaxis, that is hysterical! Thanks for the laugh!
