Sammy found... well, technically

Since I was almost certain that Sammy was hiding somewhere around the fridge or stove, I put a lot of plastic grocery bags around that area. Last night around 11pm I heard a loud KRINKLE, KRINKLE, looked over and saw Sammy sliding around. Unfortunately I walked over there too soon and startled him so he skedaddled back under the fridge. I was disappointed, of course, but at least now I know that he's a)alive and b)still in my condo. Hopefully I'll be able to capture him sometime this weekend.

Knowing where he is, has got to be a big relief. I would suggest doing a search on here for the bottle method of catching him. You could put it right in front of the frig and maybe catch him sooner if he's the slightest bit hungry :)

It's not really a matter of size, it's a matter of them having brains the size of a BB pellet and not being able to find the way out... ;) Whatever happens, glad to hear you know where he is, and I hope you get him back soon!

Well, I came home this evening after dinner with some friends and was pleasantly surprised to find little Sammy slithering along the edge of my living room rug. I caught him, fed him, and now he's safely curled up in his viv.

COOL !!!!,,how long was he "free ranging"?I just found my corn after a 29 day "crime spree".She escaped on the 2nd floor,,and my daughter found her in the basement,,go figure.
My wife ran into a guy at work who happens to breed and sell snakes. She had told him we FINALLY found our snake,,and he said,"let me guess, you found him in a cold area",,she was very surprised,,he hit the nail on the head.
He said people always assume they stay in the warm areas,,but this is not the case,,he was right this time :)

lol, same here. If mine ever escaped I probably wouldn't have any visitors ever again, hehe.

Congrats on finding her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My wife didn't like the idea of me getting a pet snake....She HATED the idea of a "free ranging" snake !!!!
I think she'll sleep better now :grin01:

Well, actually, my friends weren't there. I had gone out to dinner with them earlier that evening, but I was alone when I walked in my apartment. I'm almost certain they would have freaked out :)

Good news!! So glad the little escapee has returned! It depends on the friends I bring home. Some would freak, some wouldn't!
