:( it only do these things as im holding it( ofcourse im not pressing on it or holding it in a bad way) and when i go to put it in the viv it tries not to leave my hand,,, should i keep holding it or what??? i feel so bad
 
Even if the vet only deals with dogs and cats, he can still do a Grams stain and find out whatever bacteria is causing the infection. He can then look in a reference book and find the appropriate antibiotic to treat it. He can use reference books or the Internet to find the doseage. Giving a shot is giving a shot- I'm sure any medical professional could handle it.

I think you should make it a priority to get your snake to a vet as soon as possible.
 
ok i went to three vets and they told me to take it to the zoo... and its friday here so no one works today... theres something else that i noticed on the snake,,, theres something wrong with its jaw... i dont know
 
Where did you get the snake from? Is it wild-caught?? The RI could be due to your husbandry or it could have already been there, yet I doubt it.
What's up with the jaw? What is it doing?
 
It's been my experience that once the RI has gotten to the stage that it leaves blood. The battle is pretty much over. This is especially true in Western hognose snakes as well as Ksb.:shrugs:
 
today iv put it in a box and went to a vet,,, when i got there i opened the box there was blood on its mouth... then he told me i dont know u should take it to the zoo, i came back home i found something wierd coming out of its mouth, i removed it using a tissue then i put it in warm water,, now he stopped doing these contractions and hes a little bit calmer... i can say hes close to normal... any ideas?
 
If there is blood, as previously stated, the snake is close to death. He could be acting "normally" but what he's been through I doubt he's going to be ok.
You'll just have to go to the zoo and see what the vet will tell you because we can't help you much other than guess.
 
This sounds like a very advanced RI. Was this snake wild caught or was it purchased from a breeder? This question has been asked a few times, just curious. It does not sound good that is for sure, I am sorry to hear about this but it is very difficult to give you an actual diagnosis without seeing the animal. Any chance you can post some pictures?
