Sandy...

So Far everything is good here. We had alot of heavy rain & High winds yesterday. Lost power in the middle of a pm last night, luckily it only lasted about 1/2 hour.

Pretty much steady showers today maybe 20 - 25 mph winds. Pittsburgh is about 30 miles south & it's much worse there. Some of W VA is getting alot of snow. I hope Ziggysmom is doing ok!

Oooh, a friend of mine at work said her family in WV said there was FOUR FEET of snow in the mountains!!!

:wavey:

I am good. Thanks for asking.

At my house we never lost power. It rained steady ALL day yesterday and most of last night. Early this morning it turned to a heavy wet snow. It has been just above freezing outside all day.

It was very strange to have the cold coming at us from the south.

We are some of the lucky ones in this state. In the next county to the east, where the land quickly rises in altitude, 96% of the homes do not have power. Overall around 20% of the state is without power.

Stay safe through the cleanup everyone.
