Sani chips

I have a question for those of you that use sani chips . Have you ever had a problem w/ your snakes injesting any of the chips when they are feeding ? If so will this harm the snake? Or do you provide some sort of feeding tray that you put the prey item on ?

Also , how often do you change the chips completly out of the cage?

Thanks, Stephen

I feed outside the tub in a separate feed container. Even with putting down a tray of somesort, it could still drag it off and ingest some of the chips. However, if one or two were ingested, they're so small that I imagine the risk of impaction would be small, but is still one I'm not willing to risk.

And I spot clean as necessary and do a complete clean out every 6-8 weeks.
