School, Everybody dislikes event he teachers.
It's good for you though.
Is sucks for me :p
I have to get up at 5:30 everyday to leave at 7:10.

That's not too bad. My daughter, who is 11 and has just started 7th grade, gets up at 5:15AM to go to the bus stop at 6:15AM to catch the bus at 6:30AM for classes that start at 7:40AM. Classes end at 2:40PM and she gets off the bus at 3:50PM.

Wow you guys start school early.....
Over here the average start time is 9am and school finishes on average around 3-3:15pm......
No wonder you or the teachers don't like school..

Oh god school is next week. I hate it, it starts early for me this year, the 31st! I should get up at around 530 to get ready to be at school at 645, then classes start at 7. Although I usually end up waking up at 620-630, atleast I'm down the street fom the school.

Up here in Michigan the schools have been mandated NOT to start before the teusday after labor day. So this year they don't start until Tuesday the 8th.
Our highschools don't start before 8 and our elementary don't start before 8:50. It allows the buses to drop of high school students to then come around again for the elementary students.

Oh, the elementary, middle and high schools all start at different times here as well. That makes the parent's job of getting each child ready and off to school, and then back home again, all that more time consuming. My son catches the bus at 7:50AM and gets home at 4:45PM. Really takes a nice chunk out of the day. Thank God my mother, who lives next door, gets the pleasure of most of that as I can't be around due to my work schedule. I take my vacation to coincide with the Daytona Expo AND the first week of school as that is the most PITA part of the school year.

Still seems like a better deal than working 50 plus hours a week with a couple weeks of vacation a year!! But I can not complain, as I write this a I am on Vacation right now and it sure feels good! :)

Yeah Michigan school times are weird. I went to Pontiac Central High School, and remember having to get up between 6:00 and 6:30 to be to school by 7:30. I walked though, no buses for me, so in the winter months the trek to school SUCKED. I never really understood why they switched the hours around.

Having to get up early to go to school from 7 to 4, Monday through Friday, not having to worry about a mortgage, or a car payment or all the bills and responsibility associated with them? Sign me up!

Enjoy it. You are only young for a few more years. Then the daily grind starts.

Ain't that the truth. Not to mention the years go by a lot faster once your out of school.

When I was in grade school, here in Wisc, our classes started at 8am (actually it might have been something weird like 8:05) and we got out at 3:15 pm. We are also mandated not to start until after labor day.

Yesterday was my first time in class in almost a decade. Taking a black and white film photography class at the community college. You know you are getting old when you consider college students to be kids :(

Ugh I FINALLY finished my degree last year only to realize that I HATE HATE HATE the field. I don't want to go back, but it looks like that's inevitable at some point.
