Can you use those screen cages for snakes? I know they let lose humidity but couldn't you cover a few sides with tarp or plexiglass?

Just a question I heard somewhere else.
 
The humidity requirements for a cornsnake wouldn't be affected by a screen cage...unless you live somewhere EXTREMELY dry...

The problem with most screen cages IMO is that they are very hard to heat properly. And if there was ANY flaw in the screening...the snake would most likely get out.

I hadn't even considered that...as much as corns move around...especially SMALL ones...they could receive considerable damage.
 
Personally I would get a Jackson's Chameleon and put it in there.
Or some Crested Geckos...

Much better suited to it...
