sexing rats?

Theres nothing wrong at all with you helping me with things like that.I didn't know till you siad before about that i thought they was scared so was peeing.as for the feeding them it just has to be done as i said before i would love to be able to buy f/t but as i said many time i can't.Its hard enough getting apropiat size mice for her so rats seem to be the easier option(sp)
 
I know there are quite a few people who keep the adults as pets and feed off the babies. I consider myself wicked lucky to have access to frozen food.

Have yours ever crunched their teeth while you were holding them? It is called bruxxing and rats do it when they are happy and content. And if they get REALLY happy they do something called a "boggle". That is when they brux so hard that their eyes pop in and out of the sockets. It's the wierdest (but cutest) thing!!!
 
No they havn't i really try not to handle my pets asmuch as some people.The ones that get the most touching are the dogs and horses the rats get held once to twice a week same as the snakes and mice just so they have contact.
 
The more you handle them the better pets they will make. And when they do decide they like you, they REALLY like you :)
 
Ok i will handle them more.I have to keep them away from my rents anyway my dad hates them. But thanks so much for all the help.
