Your really a sad individual, who can turn a the molestation and the murder of a 5 yr old girl into something you wanna debate... It says a lot about your lack of charactor and taste.. Oddly enough, Johnny Boy, you turn this into your circus... *shrugs*

T comes into these threads with the express purpose of antagonization. He derides my character because I object to someone promoting vigilante justice against the perpetrator. This is also not the first time he's alluded to violence against my person, or killing me, in a backhanded way of making his points. I will not take anything he says seriously.

In this case, he pulled the emotion card long after this thread had run it's course. What he's done is the typical neo-con brain dead tactic of stifling debate by painting anyone he disagrees with as a monster. Clearly I have no mores if I would ask people to back up their threats with a little reality, or that I'm a child hating monster if I wouldn't join in the cries for this person's head.

There is no room for disagreement in his world, so why approach him with any respect at all?
 
Nova, I think the comment about "the children" and your last sentence in post #89 above is just not very nice at all.
 
Actually, I believe you were the one that derailed the thread with your insults to Beckers and then your dismissal of her post as a "strawman" argument.

Your "won't somebody think of the children" comment on a case as tragic as the one being discussed is not going to endear you to anyone, not that it matters to you, but your funny little sound-bytes on this thread show a total lack of respect as well as showing that you're not deserving of anyone else's.

I'm not being lecturing, but in my own personal point of view, Nova, in the context of this forum, I think, and try to conduct myself, such that I owe a modicum of respect to anyone who :
1) Has been a member of this forum longer than me,
2) Is older than me,
3) Has been in the cornsnake business longer/deeper than me, and
4) In general conducts themselves in a civilized way.

I have a tendency to be a smart @$$ and judgmental, but I try to leave the negative stuff at the door,....unless I think it might make a person smile or lift their spirits.

This thread, for me, was to raise awareness for a pretty, sweet, little 5 year old girl....that was on this world only too briefly,....in fact her life was shortened by a bad person in a grotesque manner.

Very well. Considering my participation at this point would be inappropriate after the events of the thread I will bow out with an apology for debating in a thread meant to memorialize a young girl who was taken from her family far too soon and far too tragically.

But I appreciate the gesture for her sake, Nova, and well said.
 
I may have stated some of my opinions in a bold way, therefore it might have been fair for someone to disagree. But I will be totally disappointed in humanity if the original topic is somehow debate worthy. I honestly can't bare to think of the monster that would commit a crime like this, and to me, there is nothing that can repent for such a disgustingly evil and vile crime.

Eric, I am very glad that you posted this, because I strongly feel like these things deserve to be brought to everyone's attention. Reading back on my couple of posts, I feel very selfish for posting my ideals of criminal justice. I still stick by my feelings that these monsters need to be killed for there crimes, but for the sake of keeping the light on the real importance of this topic...

R.I.P Shaniya Davis: A poor little girl that will never see another day on this earth because of the evil people that exist. Very tragic, and it's hard to deal with this with a level head.
