Sif shedded today.
I came home from work and saw her shed lying half in her waterbowl.
She shedded, an entire shed yay, but no picture of her fresh colours. yet (but these will follow)

Also a question, in the second picture you can see a close-up from her tail.
What are the 2 dark red "spots"?

btw. Sif looks nice in her fresh outfit :)

I've heard of this once before in a thread from long, long ago, but I can't for the life of me remember much about it. But something in dark recesses of my one functioning, but highly over-worked, brain cell wants me to say that those 2 spots are a normal finding in a male, due to that's where the opening to the hemipenes is located...but don't quote me on this!
 
OK...I just ran a search and it seems that what you are seeing is perfectly normal (just as I thought), and can be seen in both male and female snakes (learn something new every day).
