Im a bit worried. my snakes eyes went blue not long ago, and i took this as a hint that he was going to shed, so I avoided handling him.But a few days later his eyes went clear again, so i cleaned out his tank as usual and replaced his water. while doing this i let my little brother hold him. i put him back, and the next day he started to shed. but when i loked in his tank for the skin, i found only the top half or so. i lok at him and the other half of his old skin is still on him. i dont know what to do! :shrugs:

Check the humidity levels ion your tank. If it is too dry, he will have a "bad shed", and some of the skin will stay on.
You could make a "humid hide" for him, which will help to increase his moisture level during the shed and probably help to remove the remaining skin.
Perform a search for "Humid Hide" and you will find a TON of information on what sorts of things people are doing to make one of these. They are really quite simple...
I made one from a small, plastic coffee container with a plastic lid. I took the lid off, cut an arched "doorway" in the lip of the container, drilled many small holes all the way around the side of the container and a few in the bootom. I then turned it over and put the lid back on, so that the lid of the container is the bottom of the hide. I tucked a slightly damp washcloth up into the bottom of the container(top of the hide), and placed it on the warm side of the viv.

There's a few things you can do.
1. Let hims soak in a container of wash clothes dampened in warm water, let him crawl through there for 15 minutes. The skin should come off.
2. If that doesn't work, I take a warm damp wash cloth and my snake and wrap the cloth around him and hold him tightly so you can feel him move against the cloth and your hands, don't squeeze him. The skin should roll off that way too.
Repeat if it's not all off. It's very important you get all the skin off at the tail tip so it doesnt dry/harden and then constrict the tail. You'll lose blood to the tail and then have issues there.
Also with the first piece that came off, look near the head, where the eyes are, did the eye caps come off? It's important they come off to. You can gently, gently, gently rub at the eye IF the cap didn't come off to loosen it.
