My first corn so I'm not sure but I'm thinking the yellow will get to be orange after a little more growth.
He loves to be handled! Generally 2 days after his feeding he starts peeking out of his hide waiting for me to pick him up. I think he keeps a calendar in his hide too because when it's feeding day he is very impatient and wants down. I always take a mouse out of the freezer to thaw after I handle him so it's not that he smells mouse. He just knows when it's feeding day.
Awesome Okeetee (Phase?)! I love watching corns grown and change. My guess is you're going to have a VERY pretty Orange/Red snake with great black borders by the time Shesha is grown!!
Thanks for the pictures so far, can't wait to see more.
Wow, what a beauty. Love seeing your georgeous girl. That yellow is awesome. It will be interesting to see her progress. Thanks for the wonderful pics.
Thanks! I had a Haitian boa many years ago. I got Shesha because I wanted a "pretty" snake. I never knew from my first snake that any snake could have personality. This little guy is like a puppy dog! Whenever I walk in the room he pokes his head out of wherever he's hiding and sneaks out to sit and watch me. He does scurry back into his hide when I open his viv but I think the noise scares him cause he pretty much slithers up on my hand once I lift his hide. Knowing that a corn snake has real personality I would have got one even if it were ugly. Nice that they're such gorgeous snakes though!
I like the pattern on your girl. She's gonna be a real looker in a couple sheds. Not sure how I feel about scaleless yet. I think I may need to get out and see one in person.
Wow I can't get over the colors!! I love these progression threads because I get to see the changes after the sheds!! It just amazes me!! Such wonderfully amazing creatures!!
