Show off your vivarium

I'm not sure why there aren't more examples. The reason I like the idea is because it looks just like another piece of furniture, and is neat and clean looking.

Here's one more picture. Installing the lights was the last thing and finally everything is finished up and all 3 snakes moved (bottom is my hatchling so it's half size for now). Lighting are L.E.D.s and can change like 8 colors, camera made it look way brighter when it's actually a deep dark blue.

Are those the IKEA dioder lights? That's what I have for mine, unfortunately I didn't get all strips for mine. 4 have the strips and 4 have the round ones which aren't nearly as bright but they will do.

those are really nice! I love them, just wish I had all strips. I make it red in the evening and if I want a little light during the day I can just switch the color.

Your viv is very nice :)

Just upgraded my girls to 20g longs and so had to make a new stand.

Here are my new vivs, 2 are empty b/c I am waiting on 2 snakes and need to buy more vines. Also waiting on one snake this week, yeah!! Then they will be filled. My babies explored, I think I have enough vine to make them feel secure and several hides in each tank.

That vid looked fine! Your tank looks nice :) I have those same grapevine climbs for my vivs. Where'd you get that hide?

This is our vivarium, it's not awesome like some of yours, but we tried haha

He has a little bit of moss in the warm side in a dish, it's blocked by the pull-away hide right now.

"OH hi! This is my house."

Thought I would add mine :) She has two hides I made out of sculpey (not sure if she likes them yet), as well as a box under the log thingy (which she uses most of the time).

I love that log thingy as you put it. Where did ya get something like that?

It was either Petco or Petsmart... Sorry, I don't have the tag to give you the brand. But it said it's from some kind of African hardwood tree, but that it's sustainable (if that can be believed). It's quite heavy. I guess it's resistant to bacterial and fungal growth. I've found that where the sun hits it will bleach a little bit, but it's a nice piece.

Cheers, I'll keep a look out

BUDDEH's viv, not much in there due to him only wanting the water dish alot of aspen and his favorite DC shoe box, feeding bin underneath. I had to use 2 end tables to hold this sucker up, heavy as ( H E double hockey sticks)

He is getting a new years present soon and I hope he likes it. Days at a time I can always see him in and out of the aspen like a penguin in snow lol
