Show off your vivarium

Having a cornsnake has made me purchase something that I have never owned before in my life, a hot glue gun. I had to cut the vine into many pieces and then hot glue them onto the aquarium shelf thing that I already had put into Ty's home. Hopefully he will like the additional hiding spots created by the leaves.

Thanks! You don't have to be envious :D you can build it too, it's not difficult :) just do it, you'll see it's much easier tham expected ;)

I'm building mine as we speak :) It's easy(ish), just a painstakingly LONG and messy process! 1 day of cutting and gluing, 3 days of grouting, 3 days (and counting) of painting and hopefully I can seal it tomorrow. I'll have it in my viv by the end of the week ( I hope) and can show it off. Unfortunately, this DIY project has compromised much of my school/study time lol! One lucky cornsnake ;)
Someone should have told me to start with a 10gal viv background instead of a 75gal!

Four snakes, four tanks. They're all setup the same way: aspen, log + uth on one side, water in the middle, rock hide on the other side, and some branches over all of it. Works well enough I think. :crazy02:

Great looking vivs in this thread :)

Was up early today cause I couldn't sleep so I snapped a few pics of my two snakes vivs.
The sun wasn't quite up yet so they arent the greatest.

made a few changes to lous viv, added some driftwood and a vine going across the back.

Here is my 75 gallon. I love it but need to split it into 2 now that there are 2 snakes in here and the back wall needs something...

One section is the water pool, one section is reptile bark and the last section is ecoearth. Give different options for burying and humidity.

Awesome vivs!

I like the pool section dreamwallaby (Stacy is it?) & how you used the stones to separate.

I love your setup! Three different sections with different substrate. Very cool. Have you ever had a problem with your corn snake's nostrils getting blocked with eco earth? I have only ever used aspen.

I never had any issues when I used it with snakes I had years ago. These 2 are new but so far no issues. I live in New Jersey where we have native corn snakes and their natural habitat here is a fine dark dirt. Mine also, given the choice, always choose the ecoearth to bury in

Well...that is very good to know!! Now I know that I can give it a try myself. Thanks!

My Corn Snake Setup With Pond

Hey Im new to the site, and figured this would be a great place to introduce myself as well as my setup for one of my 4 corn snakes. This is my 30 gallon long tank housing my female corn snake named Strawberry. She got her name from one of her old ides that she grew out of over the years that she LOVED.

About my setup:
30g-long
Eco-earth substrate (i used 2 bricks)
I have 2 fake plants both from my local pet store one for the hot side and the other for the cold side
My pond holds about 2 gallons of water with a sand floor and some glass beads from the dollar store with a bridge to cross over
1 uth and 1 heat lamp
dollar store vines hanging around the top of the tank for climbing

HERE ARE SOME PICS WHAT DO YOU THINK
