I've seen my female lavender get excited during feeding and accidently bite herself and in the process coil herself into a pretzel but not to the extreme of taking it to the next level :crazy02:

I guess this is taking it literally when putting one's foot, er, tail in one's mouth. :bang:
 
Oh My Gosh! And all I can think of is that old tall-tale of how certain snakes can bite their tail and then roll down a hill like a wheel.
 
Yeah, I'd like to know what the relation was between this happening and how recently that king was fed. It wouldn't surprise me at all that it happened after feeding. v_various could make a great cartoon of this...

So, is there any chance, having eaten that much, he could reverse the process by himself?
