Silver Blue Ghost Mom&Hatchling

I got an email back from Rob at Bayou Reptiles today. He has been able to breed the Blue Motleys into other lines and is expecting offspring this year. The most notable is a Blue Motley X Pewter breeding that produced Normals.

The Hypo gene is definitely in the mix, and from the crosses that Rob has done, it looks like, we may see Diluted Lavenders, Diluted Striped Anerys, Diluted Charcoals, and perhaps Diluted Pewters!, OH MY!!!

Joe
We will have Blue Motley's this season. I have several breeding projects
going this season using them.
We did breed the Blue's to Pewter in 04.I held back 1.2 that were in fact
normals have eggs incubating from the trio.
I also bred the Blue's to Anery A stripe. I held back 1.3 of those. I have
eggs incubating from those also.
I also bred the Blue's into Hypo Lavender, and got Hypo's and held back 1.2
and have eggs incubating on those also.
The Blue's are het Hypo, as we have been getting Ghosts since the first
breeding. The Ghosts hold lots of pink, even as adults. I will send you a pick
of my hold back male from 04.

I was talking with Don S., and the best we can come up with is maybe two
types of Hypo genes at work. A friend of ours bred her Ghost and Blue motley's that were siblings and hatched out two Hypo Motleys in a clutch?

Here are a couple of photos that Rob sent me. The first one is a Ghost from the Blue line, and the second is one of the original Blue Motleys.

Oh WOW! That ghost from the blue line is simply amazing! I've got goose-bumps just thinking about all the possibilities I may have in my collection right now.

my male pastel ghost motley het blue is very pink just like that one, as he should be since he came from the same lines only from sean bradley. he shed today so ill get a picture of him posted later.

here the pics of my male pastel ghost motley het. blue, he will be a year old this fall. i also have a female pastel mot for him that is from a different line and totally different in appearnace. i wonder if his appearence has anything to do with the dilute gene?
