Simon is now going on his third week of refusing to eat. The first time I assumed it was because he was in blue. But even after he shed, the normally psychotic hungry snake seemed restless, paying almost no attention to the mouse! I've also noticed that he is very active lately, almost like severe snake A.D.D. Tonight he grabbed the mouse twice, both times he released after 2 "chews." After doing a few laps on the seat of our sofa chair he got part way up the arm rest and began some wild muscle contracting, to which my wife said "EEWWW, he's hummping the chair!!" I had told her about mating related hunger strikes and I really hope this is the cause!
