I moved your thread to the proper section.

OMG!! If I could go anywhere in the US- this is where I would choose! You are so lucky, and it looks like you had a great day!!

Thanks!! It was the best time I've ever had outdoors-- the first day we got down there around 4:30pm and didn't see any snakes. The next day we got there around noon and they were all over the place! You really had to watch every step on the road very carefully because there were lots of little pencil-sized snakes sunning themselves there!

That's is awesome! I wish we had snakes in abundance like that! The green one is gorgeous! As are the copperheads (?). We only have rattlers, garters and bulls around here. If we're lucky a rat snake, racer, or coachwhip will show up!

I'm not sure what the top snake is... But I know we saw ribbon snakes, rough green snakes, one brown snake, and the venomous ones were cottonmouths-- to see the copperheads and rattlers you had to climb off the road and up into the woods and bluffs... And I'm not experienced enough to do that just yet O.O

You've got some of my favorite snakes there! Lucky, lucky you to see so many and such variety. I love brown snakes and rough greens.

I had the privilege of handling one of the many rough greens, too-- such an amazing experience! The little brown snake was a hard guy to spot-- he was TINY and blended in very well on the road c:

Nice outing! That's fantastic to find so many species in one day. I bet you were excited every time you saw something different.
Thanks for sharing photos of your day.

It was probably the most fun I have ever had in my entire life-- actually made me reconsider wanting to go into psychology. I'm going to be pursuing a masters or a phd in biology now in the hopes of becoming a herpetologist one day!
