Snake not coming out...

My snake (4-6 months old) has borrowed itself in the aspen to the bottom of my tank and hasn't come out for 2-3 days since I last fed him. Is this normal? Is it okay if I try to get him out?

Yea its normal. They will sometimes hide most of the day and come out at night. Sense it has been over 2 days sense he last ate I think it would be fine to take him out.

Good luck. :)

Yeah, I would say pretty normal.
After they've eaten, they just want to lay on the heat and digest.
Even when they haven't just eaten, they prefer to be hidden anyway.. Most days the only glimpse I catch of mine is his head peeking out of random places watching ME! Though I can usually catch him out at night when I turn on the light.

Yep, it's normal.....snakes are at their most vulnerable as they're eating and digesting.....which lasts for 2-3 days after eating.

If there are still problems after that time period, you could try getting your snake to come out by playing some showtunes.

Judy Garland, especially. :grin01:

I was just concerned because he's been in the same spot the whole time. Normally I'll see him out at night, but haven't lately.

Yes, what they all said, plus:

My first clue that someone is going to shed is a snake I expect to be out and about has been not out for two or three days.
