I know a lot of you are spider lovers but due to a childhood experience I'm not the biggest fan.
I live in an older apartment that gets a ton of spiders during the summer. I can live with them until one ends up under my covers, or pops out of some place unexpectedly near me. It happens all the time, and then I get paranoid and feel like they're crawling on me for at least a week.
I'd love to keep them from getting in my room, without harming the snakes. I turned to google and found a couple suggestions to use natural oil, such as lavender, mixed with dish soap and sprayed on the window sill and by the door. However, I have also seen a couple debates as to whether oils cause health issues in snakes.
So does anyone have any snake safe spider deterrents or any other suggestions?
