I have a 9 month old motley ghost corn, I have put it into a larger tank and the corn has not ate or shed since, just wondering if this is what happens when they get a new house:shrugs:

Well how long has it been since you moved the snake?
What is the set up like are their plenty of hides including some from the old tank for comfort and scent? Temps etc etc. What feeding methods have you tried?

it has been about 2 weeks since we moved it, we put the same house and climbing things in the new tank and the same bedding, the same heating method as the last tank, same feeding methods as well, usuallt use a bucket not the tank, and even tried last time to put the mouse in the tank and still nothing

the snake had been shedding once a month and is 34inches long and now has not shed so probally not grown either

Its quite possible the snake is still getting used to having all that room, having gone from a small tank so such a roomy tank like that. I would honestly just keep offering on feeding day as it doesn't sound like your snake is in desperate need of nurishment.

The tank should be fine for him, If he is a decent weight i would not worry yet about not eating.
Maybe he is about stressed about the change of size and needs some time to get cosy,

yes it was eating every three days, it is a inch and around, it is still coming out of its hide and at night it is still moving around and scenting

Holy crap you were feeding it every 3 days?
No wonder your 9 month snake is longer than mine at a year and 2 months.
Every 3 days is also too frequent to be constantly offering food if the snake doesn't want it it's only going to stress them out more.

I was told when i bought it to feed every three to four days while it was young and then got 1 a week, what and how often do you feed yours

Well yes when it's really young and still eatting pinkies.
A snake that large should be eatting a small to regular sized adult mouse every 7-10 days.
I feed my snake 1 small mouse every 7 days.

It's a good thing you moved your snake into a larger tank with all that excercise room I would imagine that your snake is probally a bit portly. So now I'm even less concerned with the not eatting, he or she needs a little diet.
Do you have pictures?

yes i have pictures but i dont know how to put them up here, yes it does, how long is your snake and do you have pictures?
