Snake won't finish shedding

Over a week ago my snake started shedding, but he hasn't finished yet. There are bits of snake skin in his tank, and bits peeling off him. It's humid enough and warm enough. What's wrong?
 
If you pop your snake in his feeding tub with a wet washcloth for an hour or so he should be able to get the rest of the shed off.
 
I have, after the soaking on the washcloth, used it to run down from head to tail. This has helped get the rest off with no problem.
