snakes look the same

I plan to breed my striped creams this year and the problem I have is that they look exactly the same. What can I do to tell the two apart short of probing them every time I separate them? Is there anything I can use to mark them with that would be safe and then come off after they shed?

On Snakebytestv they used some sort of paint marker to tell them apart...I'll have to go back and look for that episode.

Do they have the same head pattern? I would take pics and compare them to the pics when you separate them.

They use silver to make sure it stands out. :D But since they're creams, you could use black. Just make sure to get the one that says "Non-Toxic"

Is their weight exactly the same? Perhaps you could weigh them when you separate them to know which is which?
