Some feeding shots of my favorite girl!

Canadian Boa Fanatic.
here is a quick picture of my favorite jungle carpet female, chowing down on a "large" small rat... I had alot of these in the freezer that would expire soon, so she got a few! Sorry the flash washed out her yellow, but you guys get the idea!

I can see why she's a favorite. She is SO yellow, and the black is really rich, which contrasts very nicely! Beautiful snake!!!

Thanks, I REALLY Wish I could capture yellow on camera, its SO hard :dunce:

Haha! Well, if that's not capturing the yellow, than I don't think it's safe for me to see a photo that does. High contrast JCP's (like yours) are among my absolute favorite looking snakes of any species. I love the look of JCP's anyways, but there's just something extra special about ones with such rick yellows and blacks.

She is actually quite washed out in that picture, I'd safely say she is probably double that yellow, think yellow crayon... thats probably the closest thing I can think of to match her color.

She's beautiful! I love the high contrast coloring. Is she planning to eat that rat from the middle, folding it up like a rattie sandwich?

Actually, Being about 1/4 the size of her regular meal, she ate 2 out of 3 of them sideways like that, lol!

Awww Ryan.... I hate you sometimes..... That's a stunner....
I'm looking to get some of these from Holland for next summer ready for the 2011 season.....
That's a real 50/50... Excellent quality snake you have there...
Either you have a good eye or you're born lucky.......

when it comes to jungles, I have a good eye, all four females were hand picked by me, and ALL display this vivid black and yellow contrast, they are all the same age, but she is nearly double the weight as the rest... shes my big girl! I'll get some pictures of the others soon, ones in shed, and the other is unusually moody.

I'll look forward to seeing those pics.....
As for your question about MSN.... I'm not a user.... But Joel is always on his herp chat that he made up..... I'll get him to send you the addy and you can join his gang....

That must have been funny! You should do it again sometime & get video of the rattie sandwiches.

My sick sense of humor is imagining tying small ratties together with filling in between them & offering them to your snake. I would NOT do it, of course, but I have this vision of a rat-and-jelly sandwich...:roflmao:
