ive had my corn for about 2 months..i got her free cuse she bit everyone at the pet store and was going to hold her for a friend and well it seems that now it is mine..so after doing a little research on the web.. im addicted. so what are some good books to learn more about corn snakes? i am interested in EVENTUALLY maybe breeding.. NOT RIGHT NOW.. but after i learn more and what not it seems like it could be alot of fun.ive owned just about every thing under sun...but not snakes. i had a ball python once but it was boring so i sold it..haha but I LOVE MY CORN SNAKE!!!!!!! so yeah any books with info about colors, history, detailed care, genetics, what not.. would be cool.

Hi,
Welcome to the forums. Everything you need to know about Corns will be posted here one way or another. There are a lot of great people here that will definitely be able to help you. Well, the first book you should buy is " The Cornsnake Manual" by Bill & Kathy Love. This is a detailed book the discusses everything from general husbandry to genetics to breeding. The second one you should think about getting if you plan on breeding down the road is "The Cornsnake Morph Guide" by Charles "Chuck" Pritzel. As far as we are concerned these two reads are a must. Also you can get just about any book you can think of when it comes to snakes and reptiles from Mike Greathouse. His site is www.reptiliandreams.com . He has a huge selection of reading material including the two books I listed above. If Mike doesn't have it he can get it or tell you where you can get it. Hope this helps and we would like to see some pictures of your Cornsnake.
