Hey i just picked this guy up a week ago and could use a hand IDing him...the petstore said he was a creamsicle but i have learned not to always trust what they say.

Thanks for your time.

Are his eyes red? If so hes an amelanistic corn. I have never seen a creamsicle with such a light background colour and rich redish saddles (instead of orange). But he could indeed come from emoryi lines. (creamsicles are corn x emoryi hybrids)

Yep his eyes are red. Thanks for your help. He is a great snake and i am happy i stumbled upon him!

In this particular case, if the pet store labeled it as a creamsickle, I would accept that. Better to say a snake is an intergrade and treat it as such than to call it a pure corn and possibly be wrong.

Did they say Creamsicle, or Crimson, the wo can sound alike, when your excited. And even if they said creamsicle, did they mean Crimson? I only ask, as it looks more like a Hypo, then an amel.

Yes he is a great snake, i am sure they said creamsicle so thats what i guess i will go with unless somebody can dispute it definitively. Thanks for all your help, hope to be around here for a while so i am sure i will talk to all of you again.
