BTW, that's an Andean Condor. I did a report on those YEARS ago (must've been the 4th or 5th grade). LOL.
 
LOL. When I was a kid, it was my favorite bird... until I found out that it was, for all intents and purposes, just a really LARGE vulture. Ewwww... LOL. :poke:

When we were kids the local petshop had one and tried to sell it to us for 50 bucks. My dad of course said "NO"! Of course at the time I couldn't understand why because he was WAY TOO CUTE! But as I got older we understood.

Great pics. Can't wait till spring when I can get back to our zoo and see the critters again.
 
I thought this thread was going to have pics of your HOME zoo! ;) Those are great pics. I love the gator. He just looks so darn happy in that closeup.
 
Wow. Excellent photograph of the condor. Definitely a one of a kind face. Baton Rouge...? Was it you, around Christmas, who was in Baton Rouge when I had gone home to north Louisiana for Christmas?
