A few weeks back we had a very suprising clutch from our amels het lavender pair, now they have grown a bit any guesses what they are, genetics wise they have to be opals but they dont look like opals ive seen.... out of the clutch it looks like weve had Amels, Snows and Four of Picture 1 & 2.

Excuse the mess of the tubs..... They were being cleaned out at the time!

cool! hoped we would have a snopal in there! well we have four in total, as for other two one looks like the first pic and other looks like the second pic....and then we have another three snows and 6 amels...

so guess its just a guessing game as to which are the opals and which are the snopals????

No... opals will be quite peachy where snopals will be lighter (more white) and after a few sheds will take on a lovely lavender hue AND will develop some yellow down their necks.

What i have seen of snopals, is that they will loose their pattern and become blizzard-like but with a purplish/peachy glow..
