Sterilite 1756 big enough for adults?

I've been looking at the Animal Plastics Economy rack that holds 1756 sterilite tubs. Tub size is 23½x17x6.
Surface area is actually a little larger than a 20 long tank, but the length is a lot less. Is this size tub considered to be large enough for an adult corn?

I have housed my adults/sub-adults that are ~36". The bigger ones go into the 41qt tubs or display vivs. I just think that the 28/32qt tubs are too small for a 4 ft snake.

I have a rack with 1756's on it, I still have adults in there. I really need to upgrade them all up to my rack with 1960's on it. (41 quart)

I would be interested in hearing from many people on this question/thread as well. I am waiting to hear a reply from ap regarding their 1756 series, non economy version. In general many adults would fit the size requirement to be housed in this sized rack/tub 32 quart, right? Then bigger corns would be better in the 41 quart? Thanks for any help, please feel free to pm as well. Lindsay

Double-ditto! :) (And quite a few are still in 15qt...)
Ooooh, Oooooh, Oooooh!!! I forgot to add, if you make/use a rack for 32 Qt. Sterilites sitting sideways (the long way), you can fit 2 15 Qt. Sterilites on the same shelf . . . :sidestep:

Here's an example of both 15 and 32 quart tubs being used at the same time:

Our subadults/juvs are housed in 1754's.

Adults are in 1756's.

Both of these bin sizes fit into our Rhino Raxx cages.

Hmm... maybe that AP economy 1756 rack would work for me after all...

1756 tubs have about 10% more surface area than a 20 long tank.

Would be nice if they'd just offer a 41qt version for a similar price.

I'll add a bit more on the 32qt rubbermaids. :)

Here's photos of them with something as size reference:

The snake pictured was a 2' long sub adult when the photo was taken. :)

Build your own! I just made one for $150 including tubs and heat that holds 6 tubs. All you really need to do it is a drill and measuring tape! Only a couple of minor cutting that Lowes can do for you.

32qt vs. 41 qt sterlite

I cant believe someone else finally has the exact question I have been focusing on over the last year. I currently house all of my adults @ 15 of them total in the 32 quart system. However, I have some very large males which I believe need to be in the 41 quart instead. My answer is this.... I am actually purchasing the 41 quart system from Herpenclosures.com tommarrow. After doing much research on this exact issue, I truly believe that large adults will do better in the 41 quart container. What expert will tell you to use anything less than a 20 gallon long? none. well take a 20 gallon long glass tank and compare the ground space to that of the 41 quart (1960 sterlite) container. The ground dimensions are just about the same. I plan to leave the majority of my adults in the 32 quart sterlite, but my jumbo males are getting upgraded to the 41 quart this weekend. I just think that they are too cramped in the 32 quart. If anyone is looking for a great rack system I would definitely check check out herpenclosures.com. Richard is the owner and he is a great guy who will spend the time with you answering your questions. I researched all different rack systems for probably 2 years before finally making my decision last summer to go with herpenclosures and I could never be happier with my decision. Yes they are expensive but so much better than any caging system I have ever used in the last 15 years of keeping snakes.
