Hi guys,

second time steve has got out. First time he was in the bottom shelf of my cupboard and got him easil;y.

He must have found another way out. Anyway I have tiped the house upside down for the past 2 hours and hav'nt found him. I have searched and looked everywhere.

Feeding is this friday. I am thinking if there are any traps I could lay?

I s there any chance snakes will go outside (I live in Scotland and its very cold at winter!!).

Thanks
Liam

It sounds to me like you need to invest in a different cage.
Escapes are the leading cause of death among captive snakes.
Good luck finding him!

If hes small you could use the soda bottle trap (search the forum for info on setting it) and I live in Ireland so I know how cold it gets! I wouldn't worry, he will probably stay somewhere warm and ont venture out.

Thanks guys.

How do I make the soda bottle trap?

Mind Steve is only a foot long. Should I place a pinky in it?

Thanks

Cut the bottle, turn top around so it is like a funnel put a pinkie in and tape it. Place near cage along a wall.
