Ok, im still learning the genetics and stuff. im starting to get a hang of it. I adopted 2 creamsicle corn snakes in october, and dec 4th i found eggs! it was awsome. so ive been incubating them, and hope they will hatch any day now. I just wanted to know what i may bee looking at when the babies do hatch? or would i have to know the parents of my snakes to really know? will i get creamsicles? on a side note, the eggs were laid dec 4th, and its now feb 8th, how long will it take for them to hatch? ive read all over the internet anywhere from 30 days, all the way up to 90 days.

As for eggs hatching, if memory serves correctly around 60+ days at least, sometimes into the 80s.

As for your snakes, unless there are more hets hidden in there, you are going to get 100% creamsicles. Be sure, when parceling out the offspring, to label them as hybrids.

like i said before, im new to the genetics part of this. are they hybrids because in order to get creamsicles you need to breed a ghost corn to a rat snake?
 
Creamsicles are amelanistic mixes between a corn and a ratsnake. Ghosts don't figure into it.
 
A Creamsickle to a Creamsickle pairing will yield all Creamsickles as long as there are no other hidden hets. A Creamsickle is an Albino Corn X Albino Emoryi hybrid. The Normal version is called a Rootbeer.
A Ghost Corn has no involvement with making a Creamsickle. A Ghost is made up of Anery and Hypo and a Creamsickle is an Amel. If you were to have those genes in the mix you could very well produce one in the clutch. They have been produced already. They have Anery and Ghost Rootbeer hybrids. If you do a search you can find the post that was made recently about them. Hope this helps.
