Strange lump on my snake

My snake has a strange bump thing on the top lower end of him.
I was just wondering if anybody knew what it could be.
I don't think it's bothering him but should I take him to the vet just to make sure?

A picture would definitely help. If it's a kink, than a vet visit won't accomplish anything. But if he's eating fine, shedding fine, etc... than a kink shouldn't bother him, and he should live a long healthy life.
If it is a lump that suddenly appeared, than I would definitely consult a veterinarian, as it could be something hazardous to his health.

Is the snake wild caught? I was reading a thread a while ago and it involved a wild caught snake that developed lumps that ended up being parasites!
