OH WOW LOOK! THE LOCAL PETSTORE HAS A NORMAL! TIME TO ASK QUESTIONS!
"How old is it?" Joe said.
"two years old." Said the shop keeper.
"How much is it?" asked Joe.
"$15" Said the shop keeper.
"Wow, i'll take it!" said Joe.
Joe gets to the cash register.
"Oh, I have one more question. What have you been feeding it?" asked Joe.
"Chicken legs" Said the shop keeper
Joe puts the snake on the counter and leaves with a disgusted look on his face and without saying another word.

I've heard of people doing this. If I recall correctly, even Kathy Love has said that when she and her husband used to travel the country extensively with a collection of corns, and rodents were scarce, they would use cheap chicken parts. However, I don't think you'll find too many people who will argure that chicken parts provide a balanced diet.

Interesting thread. Scanned thru a few pages (no way I'm reading all 16...) Maybe the guy at the petstore wasn't being negligent, just misinformed?
