First feed taken within seconds, went to the store i bought him from he hadn't eaten for just over a week when i had picked him up so tried feeding him he went straight for it within seconds. :dancer:

Congrats, I'm trying to get mine through is first eating as well, not working out quite as well as yours, moret my fault than his though, hand jumps when he strikes, and he seems to be striking moret o get me away than eat anyway, hes rattling. Just going to leave him in his dish in the dark w/ the mouse for a few min to make him calmer.

Hi,
Mine did a disappearing act for over a week, when i got her back, one week ago, she hasn't eaten yet either. guess she is still mad i got her back, but she did drink for about two minutes.

its funny because when i picked him up the store said they hda a hard time getting him to eat and he wouldn't eat at all, but in seconds he striked and started chowing down, but i did notice he doesn't try to strangle it, guess because its pre-killed but still i thought it was their nature to strangle whatever they strike at.

He was probably very stressed at the store. Snakes don't waste their energy strangling prey that can't fight back. Usually. After you have him established feeding for a few times, try handing him the pinky and wiggling it around and see what happens.
