Found some buried treasure today!

16 eggs total, but I'm thinking 4 are slugs. Not bad for a first clutch; mom's snacking on some fuzzies now :)

what is the blue maekings for on the eggs? is that to help you distinguish which clutch it belongs to or something?
 
Those are just some non-toxic (children's) maker x's, so I know which end is up if an egg rolls while I'm transferring :) They were all stuck together, but some kept threatening to fall off while moving 'em to their incubator box.

Sweet lord no!

XD Snakes aren't "broody" the way birds/chickens are. They aren't supposed to be moved; I think what happens is the embryo attaches to the wall of the egg, at the top, and if they get flipped and the yolk ends up on top, they can get suffocated by it.
