So I was getting ready for work yesterday morning (around 8:30am), and happened to glance over into my little cornsnakes cage, and guess what...

Guess he decided he was going to have a bath.
He was swimming around in his little water bowl... round and round for about three minutes, then got out, saw me, and looked at me like "what? Im bathing get out of here!".. and then went back into his hide.

I was like... ohhhkay.
Pretty neat. I didnt think about getting pictures though silly me.
But its really interesting.

Plus Avery is in shed now.. so that will be interesting to see what she looks like right after shed!

Every once in a while our adult will stick his head under water and just sort of check things out for a while, then head back to his hide to relax. Ahhh, the chill life of the corn snake! :)
 
my savu python takes a "bath" every night (unless he's in shed). Like a little kid in his paddling pool, splashing around, blowing bubbles through his nose underwater, and of course getting water-spots all over the glass. Then he hangs out in his tree until he dries and goes back to his hide.
 
I've never seen any of my snakes swim voluntarily, although I do catch them drinking a lot! Very cute!
