Syrian breeding group

Tula_Montage

It's Jager time!
Black female - Phoebe
Tri coloured female - Angel
Long haired male - fluffy (How original)
Other long haired Male - Chubby...

Both females are pregnant. We trade the babies to a local pet store for snakey things ;) Works out well, we supply an aray of fancy different coloured and patterned syrians that fly off the shelves... We get things we need in return eg substrate, viv decor, frozen mooses when ours are not producing, frozen rats, and scorpion food :) Basically the equivelant of £3 per 5 week old hamster

cute, cute, cute! I had a gorgeous silver hamster when the boys were young who 'myteriously' became so bad tempered that only I could handle him, then was eventually so bitey had to trap him in humane trap with chocolate spread bait to clean him out. Turned out the boys had been poking him with pencils to wake him up in the early mornings! (they were only little then). Every time I see fluffy babies in the shops I'm almost tempted to try again......

About 3 years ago we purchased the original one hamster... she produced about 30 babies who then went on to produce about another 30 between them. fluffy and chubby are the only two left from all those babies as mumma recently died. But she turned sour after all those babies... who could blame her.

If only they made steel plated gloves. We had to trap her to clean her cage too!!! What an evil hamster.

I hate the wee buggers but its pish easy to breed and look after them and we get stuff we need in return :grin01:
