I fed my very first snake for the very first time today, she chowed right down.Put her in a lockable feeding tub, popped in a pinkie and she went right to work. Was a little worried I wouldn't do something right but she seems to be tolerating it just fine. gave her a few mins to finish swallowing and put her back in her tank. She immediately went to her favorite hide. :cheers: Yay! Maybe I'm not as bad at this as I thought. :rolleyes:
 
Haha! congratulations! Yeah my Lily is a pig, she chows everything I put in there, even the chicken-pot-pie I throw in so I don't have to sit at the table all night because I won't eat it... :grin01:
 
I'm with you. I have a master piggy on my hands too. Everything is fine as long as he get's a mouse in the end.

I remember watching in amazement the first time I fed my first corn (about a year ago). Here's to more thrills to come :cheers:
 
I watch my boys every time they eat, always amazes me how far they can open their little mouths! I still sometimes worry when I see them struggling to get legs into their mouths, but have come to realize that if they simply can't get it, they'll spit the mouse out and start over again! The problem I have now is after they eat, and are back in their vivs, they both slither up their branches and stare at me, like they do when they want out for a bit, and I can't.. I leave them for 48 hours after eating, and they sit there for around 1/4 of that staring at me ~,~
