Tail issue

Hi,

My new Amel shed for the first time yesterday since i got her. However on the shed the tail was incomplete. I can see a ring about 1inch from the end of her tail where the scales are still attached. She hasnt been a good handler so far, what can i do to help?
Thank you =]

Nanci is totally right, and is the guru when it comes to this question!! I think most if not all of us use her method when needed, and it works great!

Another quick thing: That little bit of shed is really important. If left on it can cut off blood flow to the tail and might make your snake lose it's tail. That's no good. Just make sure you get it all off. :)
